About Christopher Wright
With over 25 years of experience as a solicitor, I bring a calm, impartial, and highly professional approach to every mediation. I aim to create a space where open, respectful dialogue can happen – and my approachable manner helps all parties feel at ease as we work toward a fair resolution.
I’m a fully qualified Civil and Commercial Mediator, as well as a trained Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Mediator. I’m also an Associate Member of the Civil Mediation Council and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Over the years, I’ve handled a wide range of contractual disputes, including those involving employment, construction (JCT, NEC, FIDIC), mining, beverage sales, and electronic component distribution.
My experience covers both domestic and international matters – ranging from home extension issues to large-scale industrial projects in the gold mining sector. I’ve worked with individuals (including those with disabilities), companies, consultants, and local authorities, always maintaining a balanced and respectful approach.
In addition to mediation, I’ve served as a part-time Tribunal Judge, an arbitrator, and previously as a construction adjudicator on the TeCSA Adjudication Panel until 2020. This broad experience allows me to handle even the most complex disputes with insight and fairness.
If you’re looking for a mediator who combines legal expertise with empathy and professionalism, I’d be happy to help.
Christopher undertakes mediations under the trading name ‘Kendrey Consultancy’ and participates in the CMC’s Fixed Fee Mediation Scheme.
